Proper apartment floor plan can help you have a comfortable stay for the rest of your life. If you go for a 2 BR/2 BA apartment floor plan, make sure make a proper use of all available resources to have a fault free floor plan. The three main aspects of apartment floor planning are central plumbing, light availability and adequate storage nooks.
Your floor plan must revolve around the plumbing arrangement of your apartment. This will spare you lots of money. Your plan must include laundry areas, kitchens, and bathrooms to share a water wall. This can be the smartest way of planning. Keep your kitchen adjacent to your bathroom kitchen. Much in the same way you can keep the laundry or wash place next to the bathroom. Have your living place and bedroom away from these the common water wall.
Plan your house in such a way that the kitchen, bathroom and closets are tucked into one corner. Plan your bedroom and living place in the available space. Keep as much space as possible for arranging furniture. If you have the same type of floor finish you can begin task areas from wherever you feel like. Having a concrete bar in between the kitchen and open area of the room helps a lot. It obviates the need for dining table and chairs and helps give a more spacious feel.
Your living and sleeping areas must get maximum natural light. The areas which do get much light can be used as entry areas. Large windows in sleeping and living areas can be helpful. However 2 BR/2 BA apartment floor plans rarely allow you to have larger windows. If you cannot build large windows you need to have good ventilation. If the area becomes too large for lamp spacing you can include floor lightings or outlets.
A popular and helpful 2 BR/2 BA apartment floor plan is breaking long, narrow spaces to plan living spaces. This plan usually has a hallway on one side. The other side is flanked by bedrooms and storage. This plan makes it easy to share the common water wall with the kitchen and bathroom.
